Another escape room for all you escape addicts. Today's review will be about Newmarket's first ever escape room facility called Crypto. I wasn't lying when I said my friends and I are escape addicts and that we have traveled far and wide to play these games haha.

 Pre-Room Experience:  This is actually our second time coming back to Crypto. Our first visit was back in 2016 when we played The Experiment. They were still new when we first visited and this time around you can see how much they have expanded. The facility wasn't too hard to find, and like any other escape rooms you get that sketchy vibe when you pull into the plaza. Once you walk into the facility it is very spacious. The staff were super friendly! While waiting for the other players, my boyfriend and I got a chance to speak to one of the game masters. You can tell they are also very enthusiastic about escape rooms and much like us have been to many escape rooms.  

Room Quality: This time we played their newest room Cursed Templed. The quality of the room was A+. Once entering the room you are instantly drawn into the theme and story. Definitely one of the higher end escape rooms. You can tell the staff had put a lot of effort and time in designing each and every piece of puzzle and props for this room. Nothing felt cheap in this room! The only thing my team and I noticed was how similar one of the rooms were like in comparison to Omescape's Dark Alter. It wasn't anything bad, it was just quite similar to us and stood out. 

Puzzle Design: The puzzles for this room were much easier compared to a lot of rooms that we have played. In fact, I think this is one of the easiest rooms we have done, given the fact that we always challenge the hardest rooms and fail. The puzzles were very linear and wasn't hard to understand. Each puzzle was connected to one another and was pretty much straight forward when it came to the next step. Even though the puzzles seemed easy, I think the concept and the quality of the rooms really made up for it all. 

Overall: The theme and room quality was so well put together! I would say the use of technology in this room was also very cool. Just how everything was put together made the room very fun. However, if you are looking for a challenge, this room might be slightly too easy for you. I would highly recommend this room for beginners or for anyone who have not done many escape rooms. The theme and decoration of this room will really capture you and make you fall in love with the whole experience. Can't wait till they release more rooms.Will definitely be back to play their third room!
