You see, when my team and I find a good escape company we tend to like to do all their rooms as soon as possible. No Way Out is definitely one of them! As you read on my previous review, we were dying to try out 13 Sedah Ave. We gave it a try this past weekend and let me just say, DAMN!

Pre-Room Experience: This time around we weren't late! We arrived roughly an hour early, which gave us some time to really take a look at their lobby. As I stated on my previous review the lobby is very spacious. They even have board games for us to play while waiting which I didn't notice last time. I have to emphasize on how friendly the staff were. They even remember me from writing the previous review for them!

Room Quality: Before entering the room we all pretty much had our mind prepared that we would probably either all shit our pants or break something. If you don't already know 13 Sedah Ave. is a horror theme escape room. Being to so many escape room adventures, I personally find horror themed rooms to be the best just because half of the time you're too terrified to do anything. Prior to entering the room, I noticed that even the door going into the room itself was nicely designed. It felt as if you are actually entering a house. I haven't noticed too many escape companies designing their doors, so this was very impressive to me.  As we walked in, the creepiness instantly hits you! We were told to watch a short introduction video, but in all honesty half us couldn't watch because we were terrified something would jump out on us. Once we all slowly made our way into the room, I was so mind blown. The structure and design of everything was beyond what I expected. It wasn't some cheap room with cheap props at all. In fact, it was built and design to look exactly as if you were inside a house. As we made our way around the rooms we stumbled along a very interesting one. This is the very first escape room where my team and I had to do physical task in order to continue escaping. Without wanting to spoil too much, let's just say you either discover who your true friends are or you get betrayed pretty hard. My advice is to wear shoes with shoelaces!

Puzzle Design: The puzzle design of this room was challenging but nothing was impossible. The puzzles were all connected and at no point did we question what was going on. There was just enough lockbox in this room (which I personally liked). The most interesting part of this room, was that there isn't only one way out. This was the very first escape room that had multiple methods into escaping the room. Everything was well put together and had us entertained throughout the whole experience.

Overall: The tension and scariness somewhat dies down in this room. In comparison to the other two horror themed rooms we have played this one will be rated third place in my opinion. With that being said, I personally found the level of this room perfect. It was not terrifying to the point where we couldn't do any puzzles but scream.  If you are into horror theme, this room is still worth a visit. The decorations, setting and props used in this room are unbelievably creepy! Just like their other room (Red Market), you get sucked into the theme pretty well.  As I stated earlier in this post the use of a physical task was the best part to this whole experience. One remark, definitely wear comfortable clothes and shoes with laces for this room. If not, you will end up like me, losing a shoe in the middle of escaping.  Teamwork is key for this room or maybe your team will betray you hard.  Had a blast here and definitely will be back for their future rooms!

Happy Escaping!

    1. Hi Ryan!
Hope you had fun! The other two rooms were "unknown" by escape game Canada and "Osaka High" from Mayze (which is a must try if you're into horror theme). I also recently went to one called "Shortcut" by perplexity. You can have a quick read if you're interested (it was very creepy!)
      Good luck!

  3. There are five possible heights for the sliders, so consider the highest possible height 5 and the lowest possible 1. The first slider should be 4 in height, the second should be 2, and the third should be 3.c Escape Rooms in Alberta, Canada
